Wilde Does Stuff: Pin & Brooch Display

This weekend's project was ridiculously easy and cheap - both things that appeal strongly to me. We got a pack of four cork board squares (12"x12") at Walmart. I'm afraid I can't remember the exact cost, but I believe it was a little over $10. I took one of the boards and stenciled a pretty scrollwork design in dark brown onto it since that's one of the main colors in our bedroom. Then I waited for it to try, naturally.

I then attached Command strips to the back (those things rock my socks) and put it up. I then had a good time arranging all my brooches and pins (or at least the ones I wear most) on the board. This also gives you a little peek into the goodies that I can't bear to part with in the shop.

Please forgive the cell phone photos - I was in a bit of a hurry this weekend. As it turns out, soon-to-be toddlers like to be played with a lot ;)
