Just a few shots of the first phase of getting our project room together. The first shot is Wes taking up tack strips along the walls after we pulled all the carpet up.
Now that we've got the paint on the walls and ceiling, we can actually see about buying some flooring.
We're going to try and do the flooring ourselves once we save up enough to buy it, so wish us luck! :D
How wonderful to have a project room! I'm afraid I have just a small desk in my living room right now; a bit cramped, but at least it's in front of the wondow. Would LOVE a studio of my own, however!
ReplyDeleteI put a laminate floor from IKEA in my kids room. It was really easy. Did it in a day with just help from my 10 yo. Piece of cake. It really helps to have a separate room for creative work. My house is a bad enough mess without adding art materials to it.
